Dynamic Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm for Truss Optimization Under Natural Frequency Constraints

Metaheuristic algorithms have successfully been used to solve any type of optimization problem in the field structural engineering. The newly proposed Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm (AOA) has recently presented for mathematical problems. AOA is a metaheuristic that uses main arithmetic operators’ distribution behavior, such as multiplication, division, subtraction, and addition mathematics. In this paper, dynamic version algorithm (DAOA) presented. During an process, new candidate solution change regulate exploration exploitation each iteration. most remarkable attribute DAOA it does not need make effort preliminary fine-tuning parameters relative present metaheuristic. Also, accelerator functions are added better search phase. To evaluate performance both its version, minimizing weight several truss structures under frequency bound tested. These ’ efficiency obtained by five classical engineering problems optimizing different various loading conditions limitations.
